Skin-protecting water treatment agent for use in fish farming.
Area of use
Vidalife is a unique, skin-protecting water treatment agent for use in fish hatcheries, fish farms and during transport. It can be used in tanks and vessels, on equipment and tools, as well as on other surfaces that are in contact with fish. Vidalife forms a smooth film on all surfaces and preserves the fish's mucus layer, thus reducing scale loss and small wounds on the fish during handling. In addition, any harmful metals in the water are bound. Vidalife contains polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), a water-soluble polymer that makes wetted surfaces very slippery.
User guide
Transport: Vidalife is added directly to the transport water to improve the quality and protect the fish's mucus layer. 60-70 ml Vidalife is added per 1000 liters of water. The concentration can be maintained throughout the entire transport period without any harmful effect.
Handling (vaccination, sorting, ironing etc.): Vidalife is added directly to holding tanks, anesthetic solution etc. 6-7 ml of Vidalife is added per 100 liters of water
Nets and similar equipment are dipped in a concentrated solution to make the thread smooth and reduce net marks on the fish. Use 10 ml to 10 liters of water
Surfaces the fish are in contact with while it is out of the water (tables, weights etc.) shower with undiluted Vidalife using a shower bottle or similar
