Application
Kickstart’s unique formulation provides exceptional oxidizing properties, ensuring a rapid and broad-spectrum efficacy against viruses, fungi, and algae. Its lightly foaming nature makes it ideal for use in pipes and CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems. Kickstart excels at disinfecting both surfaces and internal piping, making it perfect for use in fish hatcheries, well boats, and service vessels. It can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including floors, walls, tanks, pipes, and wells.
As a highly effective alternative for foot baths, Kickstart reacts swiftly, delivering immediate disinfection results.
User instructions
Kickstart is suitable for all types of disinfection in well boats, the food industry, agriculture, gardening, and greenhouses. It can be used for surface disinfection, in foot baths, for CIP disinfection, and for cleaning and disinfecting water lines. Additionally, Kickstart is effective for both hot and cold fog disinfection when used with approved equipment.
This disinfectant is approved by DMP and the Norwegian Food Safety Authority for use in aquaculture. It is recommended for cleaning and disinfecting boats prior to smolt transport, changing locations, and sorting fish. Kickstart is also appropriate for inland fishing and when transferring smaller boats between different bodies of water.
Usage concentration
For effective disinfection at temperatures as low as +4 ºC, use a 1% solution with a contact time of 30 minutes against both viruses and bacteria.
At temperatures above +15 ºC, the contact time may be slightly reduced.
For application, use 0.1–0.4 liters of working solution per square meter, depending on the absorbency of the material.
Always rinse surfaces before reintroducing fish or food.
For hot or cold fog disinfection, apply 1 liter per 1000 m³ of space.
